The Green King
In the silent spans of forest
Leaf and branch am I,
Through my straws and leaves and
Sheaves of grain
The wind doth sigh,
Throughout time ever-changing
Unchanged in every age,
Know ye that I live and love life
Through life's every stage,
Know ye well that in the heart
Of every seed I lie,
Waiting to burst forth with life
Grow, live, grow old, and die,
Shed not any tears for me
When I am dead and gone,
In tender love I give my life
That the wheel turns on and on.

The New Born Light
Hail to thee O child of light
Let the Yuletide stars burn bright.
On this blessed holy night,
Fairies dance with sheer delight.
You light the hearts of all who live,
blessed are we, with what you give.
The light returns for all to see,
thank you for your generosity.
Hail the new lord of the Sun
His light, It shines for everyone.
Hail the new Lord of the Green,
and to the crops that grow supreme.
Hail to thee O Child of light,
on this blessed Yuletide night.
To our world returns the light,
the hope of life is in our sight
Hail to thee O child of light
Let the Yuletide stars burn bright.
On this blessed holy night,
Fairies dance with sheer delight.
You light the hearts of all who live,
blessed are we, with what you give.
The light returns for all to see,
thank you for your generosity.
Hail the new lord of the Sun
His light, It shines for everyone.
Hail the new Lord of the Green,
and to the crops that grow supreme.
Hail to thee O Child of light,
on this blessed Yuletide night.
To our world returns the light,
the hope of life is in our sight

Poem:Seasons

Seasons
The cold north wind begins to blow
Lady Winter pulls up her blanket of snow
She tucks the land in nice and tight
The land then sleeps through winter's plight
For several months the land will sleep
But hush my darling don't you weep
Soon...the land agian will wake
Lovely flowers Mother Spring doth make
She sends her warm, nurshing showers
That are full of her growing powers
The snow crocus is the first to wake
From it's head, winter's plight it doth shake
At this time the faries begin thier work
and thier chores they never sherk
They wake the land and paint it bright
So open your eyes and enjoy the sight!
The days begin to grow longer
As summers sun grows stronger
Children play in the sprinklers stream
As summer birds sit and preen.
Summers end is drawing near
The fall colors will soon be here
Autumn comes with it's colorful arrays
And the night begins to overtake the days
Then the days begin to cool
For this is Mother Natures rule
The leaves turn red, yellow, brown and gold
As summers days begin to grow old
Jack Frost prepares his paints and brush
The animals begin their harvest rush
Lady Winter again will soon be here
But don't you cry my little dear.
For the circle of seasons you see
Are ment for the enjoyment of you and me
For Mother Nature is fair and wise
And she always creates a new surprise!!!

Yule Poem:Holy King

Holly King
Author unknown
Sing we of a mystery, now as long ago
Blood red holly berries, blood upon on the snow
The Oak king shall rise, the waxing year to bring
Therefore did we farewell to the Holly king
Now in deep midwinter all seems in a trance
Comes the golden Oak King in his age old dance
Comes he to slay, yet honor he does he bring
To his fallen brother the darksome Holly King
In the bright midsummer the year's wheel turned around
Then shall be the Oak King's blood upon the ground
Ever it comes, once more the years waning
Then shall be victorious the Darksome Holly King
Sing we of the Mystery now as long ago
Blood red holly berries, blood upon on the snow
The Oak king shall rise waxing year to bring
Therefore did we farewell to the Holly king
